For many years, the public story of Iran has been dominated by its presentation in Anglophone media in the aftermath of 1979. Yet, the history, culture and vitality of the region extends far beyond this limited, politically dominated frame.

Launched in 2019, Jaddaliya Iran reframes the discourse, revealing the texture of the region through a lens that is at once regional and global in its view. In so doing, it adds a new layer of understanding to the conversation about Iran through the creation of new, original content that looks beyond the nation-state to focus on its diversity of peoples and political formations.
